Age appropriate

Whilst walking through NY NY, my eye was caught by these, altered, Chinese pictures. Actually, they are bags. I would like to own these (I'm a sucker for the childish stuff) But this time I only took pictures, with my age appropriate pink camera.
I think they're all from Blue Q

Sketchbook Pro

Fashionary, a sketchbook tailor-made for fashion designers. It contains intensive fashion information with barely visible figure templates for instant sketching of ideas. Never mind that you can't sketch yourself! http://fashionary.org/

Hmm, total marketing concept including "Tommy Ton" style photography. They do take themselves very seriously at I.T. I guess it's the adult version of "My wonderful world of fashion"
The same idea but less chique and serious

Illustrations specially created by illustrator Nina Chakrabarti.

Much more fun, and of course, made for children.
Both "books" gave me an instant feeling of "Auch Haben", but on second thought.....I can sketch myself, but I never do cause I've got a camera, and tons of empty sketchbooks in various sizes and colours.

Candy Pratts Price

The Queen of the internet

"Candy Pratts Price may not be a household name, but the woman is a powerful force behind the scenes in the fashion industry and a leader with her pulse on the trends. Two years ago Anna Wintour dubbed Pratts Price the “Queen of the Internet,” a fitting title for the Executive Fashion Director of Style.com. Though her position was one of the many to fall victim to the economic recession in 2009, it was announced in September 2010 that Pratts Price had been scooped up as the new creative director of Vogue.com. Over her tenure as Fashion Director at Harper’s Bazaar, Creative Director at Ralph Lauren, and of course Executive Fashion Director of Style.com, Pratts Price has become renowned for her eye for style...." Top: Prada, bottom left to right; Celine and Brioni (style.com)
From Vogue.com; "“They’re holding those bags like they’re holding a puppy!” exclaims body-language expert Lillian Glass, Ph.D., when she’s confronted with a series of runway images from the Prada fall 2011 catwalk show, in which the models are snuggling up to their purses, clutching them like something soft and warm you’d like to nestle near your bosom. read more
